I already posted this project once, however I was able to improve the chocolate simulation. My goal on this FLIP Sim was to make the hard shell and the liquid chocolate as a single simulation which interacted with eachother.
After trying everything I knew by the time and still not being able to achieve the desired result, I asked Oleksandr Merlenko for some tips on this effect and he was kind enough to provide me some information, and it finally worked (thanks a lot, Oleksandr)

This project was fully developed in Houdini, rendered with Redshift and composed in After Effects.
Fluid Adhesion
The key to achieve this effect was adding fluid adhesion and animating it's paramenters. By doing this I was able to make the chocolate stick to the gingerbread, building it's shell.
Before & After
In the first version of this project, the chocolate shell was a separeted geometry without any real interaction to the fluid.
